Top 5: OPI Glitter Polishes!

Top 5 OPI glitter polishes
In the past few years I have become quite obsessed with, well... glitter. I know many people here on the internet share the same addiction, whether it is in eyeshadow, crayons or my all time favorite nail polish. In my opinion no one does glitter better than OPI. So today I have compiled my five favorite OPI polishes to share with you!
Top 5 OPI glitter polishes
Last Friday Night Katy Perry OPI
I got this polish many moons ago but it is still one of my favorites. Though it is not the most opaque or chunky of the glitter, but it never the less quite beautiful. I love to wear it over a baby blue or if I want something dramatic I wear it over a black. It almost looks a bit galaxy!
Polka Dot Come Euro Centrale OPI
I just recently got this polish at my work, I had been eyeing it up since I started and I knew I had to have it. This also is not an extremely opaque polish but I love pairing it with other polishes, or layering it 2-3 times as an accent finger. I am pretty sure you can still pick this one up, and I really suggest you do! You won't be disappointed!
Rainbow Connection The Muppets OPI
This polish is my holy grail. When I first started seeing swatches of this polish pop up all over the internet I had to have it. And when I say had to, I mean I paid over $15 for this single polish on eBay, and I would probably have paid up to about $30! It is the prettiest most wonderful glitter I have ever seen. This polish is about ten percent of the bottle left, and I will be re-purchasing when it is empty!
Which Is Witch Disney Oz The Great and Powerful OPI
This is my most recent glitter polish, and another that you can still get your hands on! This polish was one of three beautiful glitters that came out in the OZ collection. I chose this one because though it is a glitter it is also holographic glitter! This is one of the most opaque glitters I own, with 2-3 coats you will have completely opaques glittery fingers!
You Glitter Be Good to Me Pink Of Hearts OPI
I got this glitter in a Pop Sugar Box a while back, it was in a duo pack that came with a creamy pink color. This color is quite opaque and I used it a ton around valentines day! Unfortunately you cannot get your hands on this polish anymore, but it is for sure my favorite pink/purple glitter polish of all!
Let me know in the comments below what your favorite glitter polishes are!

Top 5: Eyeshadow Palettes!

Well hello again, I am back with my first beauty post in quite some time. After recently going through and downsizing my collection I have started to realize that I own a ton of palettes, but how many do I actually reach for... and how many do I actually need. I thought I would do a post to show you my most used and most loved beauties in my collection!

First we will start off with my current ongoing project, my MAC Pro 15 pan palette. It would be silly if I didn't include this palette in my favorites because each shadow has been hand picked by yours truly! MAC is known for having the most amazing variety and quality of shadows on the market today, and they are actually quite affordable... Well in comparison to some brands!
In this palette that I have put together I have an array of neutrals, from taupes to berries, to champagnes and pinks. I love every shadow in this palette and I am super excited to finish filling this bad boy up!
I am not going to go too much into this palette because I've already done a lengthy review and tutorial using it, but this is my favorite "fun" palette! Urban Decay is another brand that never disappoints with their shadows, this palette is no exception. With the variety of shadows the looks that I have created with this palette have ranged from fun and colorful, bright and glittery, and even dramatic and smokey. The shadow duo "Aura" is my favorite, the duo chrome shades are absolutely stunning. Now don't get my wrong this palette does have some minor flaws, with some fall out. But even then it has still made it's way into my favorites!
Here is another palette where I am not going to go a whole lot into, this one because it is a popular almost "cult classic" palette. I was late to jump onto the bandwagon with this palette, but when I hopped on I never thought of jumping off and never looked back. This palette is perfect for everyone. Another palette with a ton of variety, well a variety of neutrals! I prefer this palette to the Naked 1... But I think that is just personal preference. The shadows are velvety smooth, and blend like a dream. A must have in everyones collection!
The last two palettes I am going to tell you about can be found at your local drugstore or Walmart. The first (left) is Hard Candy's "Peace"... I know I know this is a duo... but it's just amazing. I think this shadow is about 4$ or so but OH MY GOODNESS it is so heavenly. The shadows are extremely pigmented and they blend like a dream. Sometimes I will wear the champagne color all over the lid and then later in the night I will work the chocolate color into my crease, so perfect!
The next is another popular drugstore love, Wet 'N' Wild's "Walking On Eggshells". Every time I use this palette it reminds me of Neapolitan ice cream. A lot like "peace" it is a great palette with some great neutrals. But you still have the ability to create a few different looks with this super affordable drugstore find. I really recommend trying out Wet 'N' Wild's shadows if you have no already, I am addicted!!
What eyeshadow palette could you never live without??

UPDATE: Where Am I?

It has been almost a month since I have created a new blog post here on my blog! I have a million excuses for why I have been missing in action, the real reason is: life got busy!

  • I switched jobs! I was working at an used furniture and antique store doing web work for them until March 15th. About three days after being let go (the store is in the process of closing) I started my new job at an Aveda Salon and Spa working as a front desk receptionist. The first few weeks I only worked 25 hours but 3 weeks later I am starting my new "normal" of 37.5 hours a week! It is really fun, I get to work in the "beauty industry" and I get a decent discount on product!
  • I dove into freelance again! I have been working almost non-stop on a freelance project that I got subcontracted to do through my boyfriends company. It has been slightly stressful, but I am almost finished with it! Thanks goodness!
  • I went to IMATS! Bri and I went to IMATS NYC on Sunday and we had a blast! If you would like to see what I purchased you can take a peek at my haul on my YouTube channel!
  • Working on my freelance makeup kit! Last month I made the decision to start doing freelance makeup and I have been working my butt off to create the perfect kit. I feel like I have about 75% of what I need and Nick even bought me a Zuca Bag as an early Birthday present!
  • My 21st birthday is this month! This really has nothing to do with me being gone but I feel like the end of March and April is so busy for me! Does anyone else feel like their birthday month is always the most hectic time of your life?!
Not only have I been neglecting my blog but I have been also been absent when it come to my YouTube(for the most part) and with my friends. I really need to get back on track already! With that being said I am on a mission today, and the next few days, to do a complete re-haul on my schedule and start getting back to the things I love!
